This Privacy Policy describes how NewAge English (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by NEWAGE ENGLISH LLC, collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website at newageenglish.com, our web application, and related learning services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Who we are

NewAge English is an English learning ecosystem founded by Mayke Severiche. NEWAGE ENGLISH LLC is the data controller for personal information processed through the Service. For privacy requests, contact support@newageenglish.com.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account and profile data: name, email address, display name, language preferences, and CEFR level or study progress you provide or generate through the platform.
• Authentication data: identifiers and tokens managed by our authentication provider when you sign in (see Section 5).
• Learning activity: lesson completion, quiz results, writing submissions, pronunciation practice metadata, vocabulary lists, and similar educational records needed to deliver the Service.
• Payment-related data: if you purchase a membership, payment processing is handled by third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, timestamps, and diagnostic logs used for security and performance.
• Communications: messages you send to support or feedback you voluntarily submit.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service and personalized learning paths;
• Authenticate users and maintain account security;
• Process subscriptions and respond to billing inquiries;
• Send service-related notices (e.g., account, security, or policy updates);
• Analyze aggregated usage to improve content and features;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and protect against abuse. Essential cookies are required for authentication and core functionality. Where applicable, analytics cookies help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using signed-in features. We do not use cookies to sell personal data to advertisers.

5. Authentication

Account sign-in may use third-party authentication services (such as Google or email/password via Firebase Authentication). When you use these methods, the provider processes credentials according to its own privacy policy. We receive limited profile information (such as email and name) necessary to create and secure your NewAge English account. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.

6. How we store and protect data

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we work to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described in Section 8.

7. Sharing with service providers

We share information only with trusted processors that help us run the Service, such as:

• Cloud hosting and database providers;
• Authentication and email delivery services;
• Payment processors for memberships;
• Analytics or error-monitoring tools (in aggregated or limited form where possible).

These providers are contractually required to use data only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security of users and the public.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements;
• Object or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides these rights;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (without affecting prior lawful processing).

To exercise these rights, email support@newageenglish.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. You may also delete your account through in-app settings where available.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us data without consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service, you acknowledge that protections may differ from those in your home country.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
